The STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX® is an independent testing and certification system for textile raw materials, intermediate, and end products at all stages of production. This strict certification can only be applied to products that meet more than 300 requirements relative to the handling of harmful substances. Mimaki achieved OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 certification of raw materials for inks at the Nissenken Quality Evaluation Centre.
ECO PASSPORT by OEKO-TEX® authenticates the safety of chemicals used during the production of textile dyes, pigments and finishing agents. Mimaki Sb54/310/410 and Sb320/420 sublimation inks have achieved the ECO PASSPORT certification from OEKO-TEX®.
These certifications reinforce Mimaki’s commitment to develop ink and inkjet systems that reduce environmental impact.
GREENGUARD Certification ensures that a product has met some of the world’s most rigorous and comprehensive standards for low emissions of volatile organic compounds (VOCs) into indoor air, and is acceptable for use in environments such as schools and healthcare facilities.
Mimaki achieved GREENGUARD and GREENGUARD Gold certifications for UV-curable inks used in its UJF-3042MkII, UJF-6042MkII and UJF-3042MkII EX printers, including BS4, LH-100, LUS-120, LUS-150 UV and LUS-170 UV curable inks. The certification also applies to Mimaki’s LUS-200 UV-curable ink; LX-101 Latex ink; and SS21, Mimaki’s most popular solvent ink.
This certification enables our customers to maintain creativity in a diverse set of markets while printing sustainably.
