Mimaki presents Tiger-1800B to distributors and dealers at new facility in Italy

On Thursday, 22nd of February, distributors and dealers from Italy, Spain and other EMEA countries, assembled in the showroom of Mimaki Bompan Textile s.r.l. Mimaki Bompan Textile is Mimaki’s new joint venture company in Tradate, near Milan. All were invited to have a first look at the Tiger-1800B in the new facility. Representing the pinnacle of Mimaki’s comprehensive textile printer portfolio, the Tiger-1800B is intended for companies looking for cost-effective, high quality, industrial level textile print capability.

At the event, participants had the chance to see live demonstrations and experience Tiger-1800B in operation. Furthermore, they were also able to connect and share their experiences with Mimaki’s management team, including General Manager Sales, Mr Ronald van den Broek, and Senior Product Manager, Mr Bert Benckhuysen. After a case study presentation from Mr Armando Mota da Silva, General Director of Mimaki’s distributor in Spain, Digidelta International, the event concluded with a lively panel discussion on the growing demand for digital printing, the ever-changing textile market and Mimaki’s role within the industry.

All distributors and dealers agreed that this is the perfect moment for Mimaki to push the Tiger-1800B further. The textile and apparel market is transforming at a rapid pace, largely driven by brands and retailers looking to produce faster, change collections more often, and reduce stock as well as supply chain waste. High volume production environment requires stable performance, high speed printing process and stunning print quality—and that is exactly what Mimaki’s Tiger-1800B offers. With this machine, Mimaki makes it more efficient and cost-effective to produce short-runs, customize fabrics and create samples.

Dr Massimo Bompan, founder and owner of Bompan s.r.l., Mimaki’s long-established partner in Italy, showed his confidence in the Tiger-1800B during the panel discussion, “We’ve been working with Mimaki for more than 20 years now. Mimaki has always been the most innovative player in digital printing and they prove this once again with the Tiger-1800B. The textile market is highly competitive, especially in Italy, but we are confident that we will be very successful with this quality product.”
